I would call 2017 a year of ‘rediscovery’. I revisited some of my favorite places such as Dubai with my family, Boracay with my best friends, and I was also able to visit places I’ve never been to like Bataan and Zambales. My travel highlight for 2017 would be finishing off the year in Coron, Palawan with my love. The islands, lagoons, and crystal clear water was just out of this world! Feb-March: This 2018, I decided to lay low on my travels and focus more on things that needs to be prioritized. For the first quarter, I’ll be flying to Saudi Arabia for two weeks for a family visit. Then I’m off to Dubai again to attend an important expo at World Trade Centre Dubai. It’s definitely going to be a business with a lot of pleasure kind of trip. I can’t wait to visit some attractions I wasn’t able to visit last year in Dubai which includes the famous Miracle Garden which I mentioned in my Dubai Summer Travel Guide to be open only during the cold season.

April-May: My friends and I are planning to go on a Labor day long weekend plus one of my best friend’s birthday celebration in Puerto Galera during the last week of April until May 1. Double celebration means double the fun! It’s going to be my first official beach getaway for the year and I can’t wait to have one hell of a summer with my friends!

June/July: I am planning on visiting other parts of Palawan such as Puerto Princesa since I can’t get over our trip to Coron last year. Hopefully this will materialize in June or July.

August/September: I have also my US and Turkey visa waiting for me to book a flight soon! I can’t wait to visit my best friends in US and get to know California and New York. Big destination calls for big preparation, right? I’m just waiting for the right timing as I couldn’t leave work more especially during the first quarter of the year which includes a lot of planning and aggressive actions within the company.

October is reserved for my Anica’s birthday celebration. We’re actually planning on visiting Japan or Korea. We haven’t booked anything yet so I’m hoping this wouldn’t be a drawing. haha!

December: For December, I’d like to make it a tradition for me and Bry to go somewhere both of us have never been to. It’s my birth month and I want to tick off a dream destination as part of my birthday celebration. We still have local destinations left unexplored. I’m contemplating between El Nido and Dumaguete. Both destinations offer nice beach, beautiful resorts, and tropical vibe. Help us decide on the comment box below!
