Looking for the perfect hotel when traveling depends on factors such as budget, location, number of people staying in a room and other preferences. For our trip to Hong Kong, I tried to find a mid-range priced hotel that is centrally located, near the MTR line and famous attractions. We were three in the group so I looked for a hotel that has a family room with three single beds but I ended up getting a room with two full sized beds at the Royal Pacific Hotel & Towers. I always check photos and reviews from Tripadvisor before booking a hotel just to see the experience of other guests. While browsing photos of Royal Pacific Hotel & Towers on Tripadvisor, I stumbled upon one of my college friends’ picture. I sent him a message right away on facebook and asked how was his stay at the hotel. He definitely recommends it and gave me all the reasons why I should book Royal Pacific Hotel & Towers. Booked!
The Royal Pacific Hotel & Towers is a 4 star hotel and is very easy to find given its exterior color, gold. It turned even more gold during the sunset. The interior gave us a warm and cozy feel because of the Christmas decorations during our stay.
Hong Kong’s Airport Express Pass includes free shuttle to and from selected hotels and that includes Royal Pacific Hotel & Towers. Yay for a hassle-free airport transfers!
Hotel staff were friendly and always willing to answer our touristy questions, no matter what the time of the day. Although we weren’t able to try the hotel’s other ameneties, they look very inviting. If only we had more time.
We booked the Pacific Grand room (tower wing) which was spacious. It has two full sized beds that could comfortably fit four persons. Room consists of organic toiletries, hair dryer, safety vault, closet and mini bar with cute mini alcohol bottles. We even had a partial view of the bay. The wifi signal in our room was also strong.

The golden hotel stands in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsui which makes it very accessible to Hong Kong’s top attractions. There’s a convenient store and mall nearby, so no need to worry about your basic needs just in case you forgot any. From the hotel, it only takes around 5-10 minute leisure walk to the train station. We were actually surprised that the hotel has an escalator that leads to the ferry station going to Macau. Very convenient if a day tour in Macau is included in your itinerary. You can walk from the hotel going to Harbour View where you can watch the Symphony of Lights and ride the Star Ferry.
Given the location, amenities, and hospitality, I would definitely recommend Royal Pacific Hotel & Towers to anyone looking for a convenient place to stay in Hong Kong.
