beautiful beach house dasol

I can’t quite remember how I discovered this hidden gem in Dasol, Pangasinan but nevertheless, I’m so glad I did. Sirom Beach House is a boutique resort located right in front of Tambobong Beach in Dasol, Pangasinan. It’s a 5 hour drive from Manila and the twisty country road leading to Tambobong beach was an adventure itself. After driving along dry plains with cows which seemed like a scene from New Zealand, you wouldn’t expect to find a beautiful beachfront resort right away. Once you see a glimpse of the ocean, you’re almost there. So happy Bry and I decided to celebrate our 9th anniversary (I know!) here. My cousin Ate Roxie and our little friend Pau joined the fun for this particular weekend!

We checked in at the Premiere Suite which was located on the second floor of the beach house with a breathtaking overview of the pool and Tambobong beach. Upon entering the room, you’ll see white walls, wooden furniture, weaved artworks, and golden traditional lamps all combined to incorporate the perfect chill space that I used to see and pin on Pinterest. Although we should be spending most of our time under the sun, it’s just so hard to get up from the huge orthopedic mattress. The room rate includes Filipino breakfast for two. The bathroom is equipped with shower essentials such as shampoo, bath gel, and towels.

Room Rate: Php6500/night, we didn’t pay extra for the additional 2 pax πŸ™‚

How beaitiful, right?!

Sirom beach house has its own in-house chef who prepares guests’ order anytime of the day. You can have your food eaten near the bar with the pool view, in the beach beds, or literally at the beach. We chose to have our sumptuous lunch near the bar and had our Filipino breakfast the next day at the poolside. Everything we ordered tasted like home-cooked meals which I love! They have a lot of variety in their menu that’s quite familiar to Filipinos. It really felt like we were at home because of the adobo, sinigang, lechon kawali, and pork binagoongan. There are quite a number of items on the menu that were not available like the turon with ice cream which would be perfect as a dessert on a hot sunny day by the poolside.

Also, no corkage fee if ever you decide to bring your own food and drinks. Was enjoying my favorite Honey Butter and Jalapeno flavored cheetos after swimming.

Drive until the end of SCTEX which is connected to TPLEX and take RAMOS EXIT. From there, continue driving to Alaminos, Pangasinan. Dasol is 1hr drive from Alaminos. From Manila, the travel time can take up 5-6 hours.

Ps. You can type Sirom Beach House in Google Maps, the map location is accurate.

Tip: try to arrive during daytime as the last 30-minute ride leading to the beach can be very steep and there are no ample street lights and sign.

Junior sirom

Since Sirom beach house has a resident & well behaved dog named Junior and we all know I’m a dog lover, I will definitely be back. Kidding aside, this boutique resort is a great place to hang out on a weekend. They have everything you need, cozy rooms, yummy food, cute dog, pool, and the beach. Travel time can be quite long for the very titos and titas out there but I know millenials would travel no matter how far for instagram worthy locations like THIS. Do we agree?

I read from the post that there’s no corkage fee. Is that for sure? I inquired just this week and they don’t allow visitors to bring in outside food and beers. Only wine & hard drinks allowed with 300 peso corkage fee per bottle. I am booking for our 3rd anniv on May so i wanna be sure coz we plan to bring some junkfoods and beers too.

Hi, we only brought some light snacks like cookies and bags of chips, we ate it by the pool/in the terrace and we weren’t billed for corkage fee, the staff definitely saw us so I guess that’s fine with them. However, for the alcoholic beverages and our main meals, we did order from their restaurant. For beers, if they do have corkage fee then it’s best to order from the resort their drinks aren’t overpriced in my opinion. For hard drinks, the options are quite limited during our stay, if you’re into hard drinks I think it’s better to contact the resort to make sure your preferred drink is available during your stay. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have other questions πŸ™‚
