cocktail beach boracay

Heading to Boracay soon with your friends? I feel so lucky to be living in the Philippines where there are soooo many tropical destinations. Boracay happens to be one of the best islands in the Philippines and in the world. The first time I set foot in Boracay was with my family and the rest of my return trips were with my friends. My most recent visit to Boracay was last June 2019 to attend my friend’s bachelorette party. We stayed for 4 nights and that equates to 4 nights of partying/4 days of waking up eating breakfast at 11 AM. Check out these best party places that I’ve rounded up.

P.S. Nowadays, Millenials (including me) instastory the whole party scene and friends while smoking shisha or dancing the night away. So, all photos were grabbed from Google because who takes pics of the venue when partying? I wish I did! Lol.

1. OM Bar

Prior to arrival at this beautiful and peaceful island, I told myself and some of my friends that I’m not gonna drink all out every night. My plan was to chill and take these 4 days off to recharge. Guess what? I wasn’t able to relax and recharge even for one day because we were partying every…single…night like there’s no tomorrow! On our first night, we were walking along the beachfront of Station 2 and found OM Bar. I knew Boracay was kind of expensive because it has been voted as one of the world’s best beaches BUT it became even more expensive after the 6-month rehabilitation. Everything was priced absurdly or so I thought. We were asked to pay an entrance fee on top of the table which costs 5k, although consumable. After all the “mej mahal” discussions we eventually went in, got a table ordered drinks and shisha. There’s a dance sand floor in the middle in front of the DJ. It was like boxing ring except for this time, people were not throwing punches at each other but instead showing who got the best twerk! It was WILDDDDD. The energy, the vibe, the music, the crowd, the smoke…Right around 3AM we decided to get our bill. Remember that 5k consumable that was open for a suggestion? Ha! Our bill was almost 10k. Girl, I didn’t know what happened that night. Apparently, we ordered another shisha after the other, we had a “couple” of cocktail towers and a “few” bottles of tequila. In the end, it was definitely a night to remember. On other nights, we find ourselves dropping by at OM to get a final drink before going back to the hotel. OM is officially my favorite party place in Boracay!

Oh who doesn’t know about EPIC bar in Boracay? This is one of the pioneer clubs in Boracay. It’s a beachfront restaurant during the day, they serve really good food with a nice view of the beach and transforms to this lively club at night. Epic is great for groups. If you want to get a table, might as well arrive earlier than the usual party time. If I’m not mistaken, they only serve bottles starting at 9 PM. Again, I’m not sure but that’s what I remember. Now this place has a REAL dance floor not that I have issues with OM’s sand dance floor. Haha! Anyway, it’s a two level establishment and in case your table is located on the second floor, you can still see the DJ and the dance floor from the indoor balcony. Overall, a great place if you want just the right amount of party.

Oohhhhh, Summer Place! The first time we went here years ago, we already partied somewhere then we accidentally went inside this club and partied till the dawn. Initially our somewhat alcohol influenced mind thought it’s Summer PALACE. Haha! This place is so easy to find even if you’re already drunk because there’s a very cute landmark and I’m guessing you’ve already seen it from the photo above. Yes, it’s a cute white rabbit giving a smooch face. I love this place and we always make sure to visit Summer Place whenever we’re in Boracay.

So there goes my top 3 favorite party places in Boracay. There are other party places around the island. Some parties are held in hostels. You can even join a Pub Crawl where you can join a group and visit different bars and clubs together. Drink moderately & take care of your personal belongings. Boracay is truly one of a kind! It’s like a secret paradise that has everything! I hope you enjoy every bit of your stay.

Sharing a bit of my camera roll in one of those nights! πŸ™‚
